This compound rod came without a tip with two flat ends. Both ends were flat and appeared to have been used or damaged. piss off!

Arrived broken in 2 pieces but has not affected use. Works well with smaller diameter fittings, but does not work well with fittings larger than 3/4 inch.

The item I received was dry and hard. There was no lid and the product was unusable. Revain replaces the product. I hope the next one will be satisfactory.

This has a thin cardboard sleeve around the stem, it is fragile - came broken in the box. What little I could salvage was dry and brittle. This is in no way inferior to the usual old thread seal in the pipe.

I am a retired pipe fitter with over 30 years of experience and have never seen these dope rods as large (about 1.25" in diameter) as the ones I have used in the past, about 75 inch diameter. . Actually a good thing. If it runs out, I will definitely buy more.

I have used a different brand before and found it very convenient and ten times easier to get a good seal than tape. Big stores don't have it, so I ordered it. I took the large size because it was more profitable. Well, it's a BIG crayon, but that's okay. The outer surface gets a little hard, so you have to do something good, but then everything works fine. Rub it over the male threads to fill them up. I like it!
