Poor quality control

First impression is not very good. The first had a broken device on the back, its solder joint. The replacement is dirty and looks worn: the connector pins are bent, as are the jumpers. FYI: The markings on the jumpers don't match the markings on the pins. The jumpers follow the position of the pins on the header and I suspect the header markings are more based on the Pi's markings. It's recommended to do a simple continuity test before connecting.

Shouldn't have passed quality checks

Poor soldering on the stackable connector had a short on the GPIO pin for one of the relays that connected directly to ground. My GPIO burned out while testing the board.

I bought five SB components on three orders. When I first connected one of the relay boards to the Pi and installed the software and mobile app I was very impressed. The relay appeared to be working properly. It wasn't until a few days later when I actually connected the relay to the circuit that I found that while the individual LEDs were switching on and off, the individual relays were not switching. The mobile app is great, the LED is turned on and off remotely, but the physical/individual…

Simplicity is best in computer components

Very easy to install. The relays on the board are clearly labeled (Relay 1, Relay 2, etc.) and each relay has its own indicator. The relays are high enough to be used at 240VAC at 7A. I'm using the relays on this board as a 12V gate controller. I cannot fault this expansion board and would definitely recommend it!
