Review on 🔌 PiRelay Expansion Board for Raspberry Pi A+/B+/2B/3B/3B+ Loads up to 240VAC/7A, 125VDC/10A - SB Components by Brad Arthur

I bought five SB components on three orders. When I first connected one of the relay boards to the Pi and installed the software and mobile app I was very impressed. The relay appeared to be working properly. It wasn't until a few days later when I actually connected the relay to the circuit that I found that while the individual LEDs were switching on and off, the individual relays were not switching. The mobile app is great, the LED is turned on and off remotely, but the physical/individual relay never switched states. Thinking it might only be one unit I tried three more with the same results. I emailed support and explained the problem. After waiting 5 days with no response I requested a refund from Revain. The next day I received an email from SB Components that I could not reproduce the problem I was having and that they would be happy to send me a new unit. I replied that as in my first email I had purchased 5 units and given order numbers. I explained that I would let them decide if they wanted to replace the devices or if I should issue a refund to Revain. Unfortunately I still have not received a reply and have returned the Revain product for a refund. I would have thought it was a manufacturing/component defect as 4 out of the 5 I used failed.
