Installation was easy. MagSafe also works well through my iPhone case. My only suggestion is to place the USB port on the side of the device instead of the bottom. It would be easier and less ugly to route the cable to the cigarette lighter. However, it points straight down, so a small loop of wire is required for it to be routed to the lighter. That's it. I am happy.

MagSafe holders/charging magnets are very strong. I have a 13 Pro Max and when I put it on I know it won't fall off while riding. It also charges my phone pretty quickly, which is a huge upgrade thanks to the Belkin MagSafe car mount that only holds my phone! The build quality is definitely excellent as Pitaka carbon fiber is used throughout and there is silicone on it which keeps my phone stable so it doesn't move at all.

The design and materials used for this Magsafe car charger are great. Pitaka seems to use VERY strong magnets to hold the phone in addition to good materials. You get a Magsafe animation when you plug in an iPhone, but I'm not sure how much current it charges. I had another Magsafe charger from Scosche (Magic Mount Charge 4) and it was poorly constructed (mostly not considering the thickness of the iPhone 13 Pro camera mount) along with weaker magnets. I really live with how it connects to the car. it doesn't disturb the view and fits snugly to the fins. From this point it practically no longer oscillates. The part used for rotating and tilting wobbles a bit sometimes (especially when it's hot from the sun for some reason). Only to the point where you might have to move it if you move.
