They do exactly what they are supposed to do. The cartridge filters the water I use in my life jug, making it alkaline in the process. I use this water in my Keurig to make coffee and of course to drink. I have heartburn and was hoping the alkaline water would help. I'm not sure if it makes a huge difference, but it definitely won't hurt.

I was a little hesitant to buy this product, so I did a lot of scientific research on several neutral sites before buying. I have to say, even though our tap water is rated as some of the best in New England, this product has given amazing results! No more buying Fiji water for me in Rhode Island. I'll try it when I get back to Florida where the tap water is just gross. If it works there, it's a complete success! Very happy with my purchase.

These filters aren't cheap but 1 out of 3 will have trouble getting water through the filter. I contacted the company last year and was told that because the charcoal is so densely packed, it's best to soak the filter in water for a while before using it in the jug. I did this and it helps for a while and then it just doesn't work. I just got one that doesn't work and now I'm moving to a new system/company.

Delivered on time. Follow the instructions for changing the filter. I replaced the old filter with a new one. At first he worked by filtering water. After a while I noticed that the water in the tank was not filtered. I took out the new filter, turned it over and put it back in. It seems to be working again. I had no problems with the filters that came with the Jug of Life. Hope the filters help. While they appear worse.

The only good thing is that it raised the pH a bit but caused a headache. I had no problems with the original filters, then I bought a replacement. Followed all directions and had no consistency with water leaking from day one. For some reason it clogs and I had to take the filter out and shake it a few times before it finally started dripping water for about 4 more uses until it clogged again.
