FILTER CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT Took about two months as advertised. The pH was tested once a week using Phinex diagnostic pH test strips and showed a reading of 9.0 in early July to 7.0 in late August. This was my sixth time. There were major problems with water passage through the filter. Very frustrating until I decided to follow Brita's suggested method (the brand I used before switching to the Life Ionizer): fully immerse the filter in water for 30 minutes before installing it in the jug. worked wonders! Convenient and economical with Revain Prime.WATER JUG Functional, nothing fancy. The digital counter does NOT work. I called my local dealer to get a replacement part, but he only recommended putting a 2 month calendar on my calendar for a filter change. So more of a manufacturer error. Disappointed there for a while. The health benefits far outweigh any ailments.
