🦷 Plackers Orthopick Flosser for Braces - Value Pack of 4 (Each with 36 Flossers) Review

My 9 year old granddaughter uses Plackers unaided. That is, after she's been taught how to use them. Recommended by her orthodontist, they greatly improved the condition of her once sensitive, swollen gums.

This makes cleaning my braces so much easier. It fits comfortably under the wire and I can clean the ridges between my gums and between my teeth. The price is better than other comparable brands. This could be my Goldilocks brand of dental floss.

I made this for him myself but wasn't able to show him the benefits of flossing with braces. I know the geometry is tricky in this area, so maybe it's not the company's fault.

I ended up buying Plackers from Amazon as they were cheaper than Platypus orthodontic floss. Such a big mistake! The plucks were thicker and I had trouble getting them between my braces. Not recommended for small teeth. Their serrated side is also very thin and I couldn't use them to remove food debris from the braces.

I really wanted to like them. They were cheaper than Platypus so I decided to try them. From the start I was impressed with the filament side. Much stronger than other brands. But they are too wide to fit between the braces on my bottom front teeth. I'm also not sure how I didn't notice this when I bought it, but the side of the tooth is a rubbery material not conducive to squeezing between teeth. 3 stars for the floss, 0 stars for the pickaxe. Luckily I only have 8 weeks left to wear braces so
