I originally bought this to use as a light controller for my home. I couldn't figure out why my light kept coming on in the middle of the night and one night I noticed the screen randomly touching a certain area. The price isn't bad, but I wouldn't use this screen for anything important.

The picture was good and the setup was easy enough. My issue was that the touchscreen was about 1/2 inch from where I actually touched the screen. Even with the help of support I could not calibrate. The Calibration and Auto Image Adjustment options in the menu were grayed out and unavailable. The support informed me that I have a defective display. Let's go back to Revain and choose a different monitor.

The monitor works almost as advertised. Still images are sharp and the touchscreen works well. The user manual isn't particularly helpful, but trial and error will get you there. When setting up a monitor on a Windows computer, be sure to go to the Control Panel to set it up, otherwise you might get frustrated with its responsiveness. I bought them for the till we use. One of the screens fell out so I bought it to replace another brand I had. The difference was day and night. The colors are so vibrant, love that it's a big screen and the touchscreen works like magic! I was so impressed that I bought a second screen for our other register.

EDIT: 1.5 years later. Now spotty touchscreen, center touchscreen stopped working. Emailed and called support to have it replaced under warranty but to no avail. This is a great secondary monitor for Win8 systems and cannot be used as a stand alone or primary monitor as the screen edges are not aligned, they are mounted in such a way that swiping around the edges is VERY difficult and is not recommended.

This is an impressive monitor for the price and features. Now I wish I had looked for a larger 27-inch screen. I was wary of the optical touch technology, but for a widescreen monitor it's extremely useful. I didn't know it came with a pen until I started reading the documentation, which I normally NEVER do. But here it is neatly tucked away in the bottom left corner of the monitor! Great Flippin product.

Great budget touchscreen. We use two of these as touch screens in our bar. One controls the A/V Marix computer and the other controls our music streaming, video streaming and auxiliary video systems. plug and play Lots of connections. And as always, great customer service and quick shopping at Revain.

The size is great, but you can only look directly at the screen. The image is not visible when viewed from the side or from above/below. The LCD is of poor quality. The contrast is terrible. The touch function is not very reliable. You must press multiple times for the monitor to register. I wish I could return but outside of the return period I was unable to install this several months after purchase. Don't waste money!

I'm so glad I have this monitor. I will no longer buy regular non-touchscreen monitors. I just love touching the screen and doing everything faster! And Planar is very expensive. I bought this for home and bought another to replace my monitor at work! He is big and beautiful!

Well, I got this for my first foray into Windows 8 and it does Yoeman's work as a touchscreen, but it's not for someone who reads the screen a lot or anything that requires accurate colors. I think it would be fine for gaming and the rich colors they typically use, but not for working in Photoshop or Word.
