The 997-6399-00 24-inch planner lives up to the expectation of a great display in all its 1080p glory. As a touchscreen, my device leaves a lot to be desired. USB connection keeps failing. Without this connection, the touch function of the device will not work. I haven't found a solution to this problem yet.

Wow! That's what my friend said after I hooked up this monitor. The picture was very clear and the colors were vibrant. The touchscreen made my experience with Windows 8 so much better. The only downside I have is the stand, it's plastic and looks a bit cheap. Amazing deal for the price!

This is a great secondary monitor for Win8 systems and cannot be used as a stand alone or primary monitor as the screen edges are not aligned, they are mounted in such a way that swiping around the edges is VERY difficult and is not recommended.

Fantastic monitor. No tuning adjustments are required. The touch sensitivity is very high. it even reacts to small flies landing on the screen. My only complaint would be the packaging which other buyers have also mentioned. In fact, it turned out that gorillas did this, but the device arrived without a single scratch.

Overall the screen is ok, the main reason I bought it was to use it with a Chromebox for touch support. When used as the main screen or in mirror mode, touch support works fine. However, my plan was to use this screen in extended display mode, which basically destroys any touch functionality it had as a primary monitor or in mirror mode. This is an impressive monitor for the price and features. Now I wish I had looked for a bigger 27 inch screen. I was wary of the optical touch technology, but for a widescreen monitor it's extremely useful. I didn't know it came with a pen until I started reading the documentation, which I normally NEVER do. I love the monitor, the only issue I have is glare which I've had for a few years and I'm still using Windows 7 and won't be upgrading. So if it works with 8 or 10 that's not my problem, I love it and am in the process of buying another one to replace my extra Dell monitor to complete my dual monitor setup.
