Planet Bike Alloy Bottle Yellow Review

This was the only bottle cage that wasn't black. Also, it almost perfectly matches the basket my wife has on the front of her bike. To be honest I don't know if this is even a review about the cage itself and not being the color I wanted but so far so good.

Not sure how you like your bottle cage? Oh I know, try riding without water, or hold a bottle, or try to pick up a bottle from a nearby shelf or table. After doing this a few times you will either hurt yourself or fall or drop your water bottle and interrupt your workout or spill water on the floor to slip and fall when getting off the bike. Then! Then! Then you will love this item and just buy another bottle cage to save yourself.

I was a bit hesitant at first because I've heard in the past that aluminum bottle cages break easily. But I'm not worried that I'll have any problems with it. It is what it is. It's old school, so I think it fits an old school bike. There are many better options for modern bikes. However, it is well built and beautiful. I bought 2 holders for my bike although I don't usually ride far enough to even need one. I've carried water with me since I got the holders and it helps to sip along the way and stop at a stop sign.
