Although the design may seem promising, the sound quality of this headset was underwhelming. The clarity of the sound was poor and the volume wasn't loud enough. On the plus side, the build was sturdy and it appeared to be durable. I was expecting better from a leading brand in electronics.

Great gaming sound and realistic 3D feeling. Although I use them for online discussions and meetings, they're really good for gaming. Somehow there's a real feeling when something's approaching from behind, and I often feel like the background noise I'm hearing is at home and not on the web. In addition, they are very light and comfortable. I would say excellent value for money.

Purchased for use in Skype meetings. Works great, although some software needs to be downloaded for the call controls to work. For those of us who work for a large company, getting permission to install software can be a challenge. Headphones and microphone work without installation. The only purpose of the setting is to make the volume, mute, and answer/hang-up buttons work. Luckily, these features can be controlled from Skype, so setting up the device isn't a hassle.
