The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

It seems that there is no B-P filter on the microphone, which is a minus. Pretty good fit on the head and, as for me, a good sound for music.

Pros
  • USB input. Good microphone. There is a physical button to mute the microphone and physical buttons to increase and decrease the volume. In general, instead of this headset, in the future, you can connect another one, since the headset is disconnected from the main module.
Cons
  • Leatherette ear pads can crack quite quickly. The headset cable is short, which is why the device where the headset is connected (where the physical buttons for volume and mute) will most likely hang out and cling to everything

Works well: Computer and accessories

I've been wearing these for a few weeks now and find they work well and are relatively comfortable. Hopefully they'll last longer than Plantronics' $200 set, which fell apart after a few years.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Compatibility

Loud continuous tone - unusable after 4 months

Loud continuous tone after 4 months rendered the headset unusable. This happened on two different PCs, while my other headphones continued to work on those PCs with no issues.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

Computer headset quality problem

Works great but broke quickly. The sound quality is excellent, not only the voice but also the music. It is also very comfortable to wear. The problem is that one ear died off quickly, so quality control is an issue. Maybe I was unlucky and got a lemon.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Broken after 2 months of use

I bought this headset on January 10, 2021 and was initially satisfied with the quality. Today, after just over 2 months of use, this headset has already broken. The headphones work but the mic is broken and it makes an awfully loud static/scratching noise when the mic is on making it totally useless for what I bought it for. Considering the price I paid for it and only 2 months of use, is this so disappointing and it looks like I have no option to return it or even get a replacement?

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Not as good as my Sennheiser SC60 but with 3.5mm jack

They are good but not as comfortable as my Sennheiser SC60. I like the 3.5mm jack which my SC60 doesn't have. The 3.5mm jack works great with my smartphone. I wear them to work every day. The audio is great and the mic signal is great for conferencing (Teams, Zoom, Goto, Webex, Google Meet - yes I should use them all. I've also listed them in order of audio quality if it helps you - Teams is the best sound quality far away and independent of the headset). If my SC60 had a 3.5mm jack, I'd…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • For old ones

Good headset for work

This item was gifted to me by a previous employer and I had to return it when I left. I needed a new headset for my current role (I answer my phone daily and make a lot of calls) and it wasn't difficult to purchase. The sound quality is excellent, the fit is comfortable and the ear cushions are soft. Toggling volume, mute/unmute, and answer/hang up is very convenient and works well with both my virtual phone system and Microsoft Teams. My only complaint is that it could have been a little…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

A bit pricey but worth it!

A bit pricey but worth it! I'm a Linux engineer and I sometimes find it difficult to use consumer accessories on my laptops and desktops that run anything other than Windows. This headset works flawlessly with Fedora, CentOS, MacOS, everything I've tried. And of course, Plantronics has been a leader in the headset market for decades, so the sound quality is superb. I love that I can use it with systems that don't even have a USB port. Simply remove the adapter and plug into traditional 3.5mm…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Everything great

Absolutely unusable product, not suitable for use.

I took these headphones because of noise reduction - I heard very good reviews. They said that it is well suited for call centers, and that noise dampens well. Now that you have to work from home, all sorts of boring neighbors get in the way, and noise reduction becomes very important. So here it is not. Nothing extinguishes at all. Somehow it smooths out - the same drilling turns into some kind of gurgling sounds, but they remain the same volume. One figs I can't hear during the noise. I…

Pros
  • Compact, easy to carry in your computer bag
Cons
  • Noise cancellation, in fact, no. The quality of the microphone and sound is so-so. Comfort is poor, the pressure on the ears begins to be felt after 10 minutes.

I'm completely satisfied with the product, it works.

I already wrote a review about the Plantronics BlackWire C225 headset. This model is positioned as older. it has the ability to connect both via USB and via a 3.5 mm jack. But compared to the younger model, some advantages have been lost. The main lost advantage is that in this model the ear cushions are not made of foam rubber, but made of leatherette, which, of course, is worse suited for long-term wearing on the head. However, the disadvantage is small, the headphones themselves are quite…

Pros
  • - Beautiful - Qualitatively assembled - Lightweight - Connectors and USB, and jack 3.5 mm - Handbag included
Cons
  • - Sound quality is average - Leatherette ear pads - The cord is short, especially its USB part - The control unit is not very convenient - Not cheap
