🎧 Enhanced MX250 EarBud 2.5mm Headset by Plantronics (Discontinued by Manufacturer) Review

I bought this device because it meets my needs; and that I've had good luck with other Plantronics devices. But there are two issues preventing me from using this product. 1. If there is a way to clip this to my ear so the earbud is securely attached, I can't figure it out. Maybe my ear is too big! This headset is much easier to put on your ear. Don't worry about earbuds that don't fit the headphones or are too big to wear comfortably. It attaches easily to the earlobe and the sound is clear. The earphone fits perfectly and the headset stays in place.

I first heard about these headsets when they came with my Plantronics phone. The phone is now obsolete but I continued to use the original phone's very old headset with my now Uniden set. This was to replace a newer version as the speaker was too large. I use this at work to chat on a busy CCU. The handset fits well. The speaker is well placed and works well. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because you can't change the volume. There's a nurse who insists on speaking out loud and I think one day she might rupture my eardrum.

This is the fourth time I've had to buy it, the first one broke, the second actually lasted a while before losing sound quality, the price for that third ear came from the speaker and was taped in place. Also the picture shown by Amazon does not match the product you will receive. You get one that's a little bigger and says Verizon on it.

As long as Bluetooth has existed I thought it would be perfect now. But it's not, and sometimes you need a wired headset. Everyone says I have crystal clear audio and don't worry about running out of battery! My only issue is the ear clip (the transparent part of the earcup). The sound quality is good and the price is good. What I don't understand is why do you need a headset that you can put on with two hands? You need to insert it in your ear and hold it with one hand and attach a soft clip to your earlobe with the other. It's not very difficult. It's impractical and makes as much sense as a two-handed Q-Tip. No thank you.
