good and bad product

This product is great for making and receiving calls! The downside is that the connection from the earpad to the mouthpiece is made out of cheap rubber. After a few months, the connecting element breaks and only the cord inside holds the two elements together. This is the third product that broke for me.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

What's wrong with your battery life

I've been using plantronic headsets for 8 years and love them enough to be faithful when I need a new one and the battery life on this one is just terrible. It may be written that there are 7 hours left, but in reality it means 5, and the speaker himself is very uncomfortable. I'm trying to find another headphone that can be worn for a longer period of time.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • unreliable

Old style but doesn't really work and has great battery life.

I have used this machine and some fakes. Notba is a fan of cheaper refurbished ones. I know they're expensive, but great battery life, convenience, and contacts sync. I know the technology in these devices is advancing, but sometimes what works there, I try to stay true to it.

hands down best performer of all BT headsets!

What a wonderful device! Add a custom earpiece (no air duct) and superglue in place. This comb rocks. You can hear in a very noisy environment and the other end can hear you! I'm hard on these devices and have been through 3 in 4-5 years. lots of snow, water, sometimes out of place. Even though I'm always looking for the 3 latest and greatest, I keep buying the same headset!

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Can hurt

Short range Headset only

This is the second one I have. Lost the first. I still say that with such a HUGE piece hanging behind your ear you would think they could fit a battery that would last a week. It says 5 hours on a full charge but I usually have to charge it every night. This one doesn't work when I'm 15 feet or more from my phone. The old one worked much better. I could go get the mail, leave the phone in there and continue the conversation. There is not much or not at all. I'd probably get a different one if I

Very poor sound quality and Bluetooth disconnects

This is my fifth Plantronics headset (and second 5200). Comfort, ambient noise cancellation, and battery life are pretty good. The bad news is that this device, which I've been using since the end of September 2020, has been very disappointing: it often drops the Bluetooth connection during a call for no reason; it almost always transitions to electronic stuttering/noise when answering an outgoing call via voicemail (this is not a problem with the phone when I disconnect the 5200); and it makes

Everything I was looking for

I have owned 2 other Bluetooth voice activated phones in the past. I was happy with them, but like everything else, they eventually stopped working. I couldn't get that brand anymore, so I searched the web for another phone that would allow hands-free calling. To handle a call, the phone announces the caller ID and prompts you to answer or ignore the call. If the caller is ignored, they go to your voicemail. I find it works great and has the ability to make calls even if your number is listed…

Pros
  • Accessories and consumables
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine
