I carefully measured my broken buckle and it is exactly 1 inch in diameter. The replacement buckles I received never measured 1 inch anywhere. At least the replacement buckles were 1 and 1/4 inch in diameter at their thinnest point. As you can see in the photo, there is a HUGE difference between 1" and 1" and 1/4".

Work normally But I only needed a male part to fit the female part sewn into the dog collar. The two parts are the same size, but in one place this one is slightly thicker than the female. I sanded it to fit. And although it is now pulled out without squeezing, it is normal for the collar. What I'm trying to say is that these clips don't always have a standard shape and therefore don't always interact with other clips.

I don't often review products, but these buckles were exceptionally poor. The buckle has one job: to stay closed unless opened by pressing two small latches on the side, but this product somehow fails to do that. Buckles loosen with the slightest tug. It's partly my fault for not reading the reviews, but I thought all buckles were capable of fastening things, and an item so easy to make would have to be purposely sabotaged for it not to work. I used one of these clips to replace the belt clip on a lightweight backpack. When attaching, even a moderate pull on the strap will cause the clip to come loose. Even without the strap, I can take it apart with my bare hands without letting go. Since you can't rely on it to hold the weight that a regular 1" strap can carry, it gives a completely false sense of security. Hence my claim that it's worse than useless.
