It was better than expected! My mom loved it, she also liked that it comes with a DMC color chart. Her eyesight has gone bad and she can no longer see normal cross stitches, this helps her with her plastic canvas projects.

This is a great book of cross stitch patterns. They are cute, light weight and a good size. I don't use canvas, but you don't have to! The design is more modern and simple enough for a beginner. Lots of options at my fingertips. I am very pleased with these easy to read, very clear patterns.
