I used it to build a few small round houses to extend my growing season. On a sunny day, 1 layer creates about 20 degrees warmer inside temperature, 2 layers with a 2 inch air gap between them creates about 35-40 degrees warmer inside the tire. Depending on how much sun they get.

I have built four 4 x 4 foot Square Foot Gardening raised bed containers but I wanted to control how much and when the plants are getting water so I bought these and used about 10' x 1 /2" Schedule 40 PVC and 1" x 2" strips of wood with some wire and staples. It's not crystal clear but it's not bad. It seems really sturdy and will probably last a year at least; that's good enough for me.

Lay it on my white mohair rug. Month issue fixed.

Apparently we bought too thin a film for our purpose of covering the chicken coop. Last year the tarp worked fine but this year after the plastic was attached to the frame with 2x4 brackets (just like last year) one of the tarp panels broke through the brackets on the first windy day. I added more staples to hold it in place, but I ended up adding strips of plastic wrap around the edges to hold it in place.
