I really liked these bottles. Bought these for my 3 year old who loves to draw and wants to assemble himself. The paint flows out slowly enough to give it time to fill the paint tray and react quickly enough not to overflow. My only issue is with the tops - they are quite difficult to get off and can splatter small drips from time to time. We don't really care as they are filled with washable paint and it seems like they will wear down with use and become easier to manage. The time will show.
