Tried several options and this is the only pirate - easy to use, stable result, good quality. The design allows you to fully slide the shielded cover. This is almost impossible to achieve with others where the wires don't pass. I'm by no means an electrician, but I can make a perfect one in five minutes or so THE FOLLOWING. Highly recommended.

Overpriced in my opinion but really great shielded plugs, just be sure to use strain relief or glue an external ground to the cable to provide some protection from kinks. Be sure you have a good ground connection to the screen with them. I recommend buying the correct crimping tool and an external grounding crimping tool to get it done properly and professionally.

Almost excellent. Maybe the batch I received didn't pass quality control. Shiren - FTP gel tape is stuck, some connectors don't work and end up being thrown aside. the larger 23ga absolutely cannot get through without extra time and retries. You'll probably need a crimping tool that cuts off the ends to speed up the process, but I haven't found one.

I've had many breaks over the years and it's seldom that one doesn't go through. With this product it is not. I had several open connection faults and the outer metal is poorly designed and too thin.

Heavy thick shielded Cat6 is what you need. I had to deduct two stars because the part of the clamp that wraps around the cable is not as strong as thick tinfoil and is folded up a lot. Too bad they didn't have tension for that connector that hides that clip. Or maybe add small pieces of shrink wrap that just look messy.

Another good thing about them is that they work with some cheap rubber caps that I have on hand. I have not been able to get Platinum Tools Cat5 or Cat6 fittings to work with them. As for the strain relief, I wish PTools made the metal crimp a bit more generous so that it could wrap completely around…

These connectors may seem a little expensive, but they are reliable connectors. I was able to bend the ground sleeve out of the way to insert the conductors and then lower it back over the sheath for crimping without any of the tabs breaking or cracking. I had no noticeable frustration trying to stretch the ladder. Each of them fits perfectly with all the devices I've used them in.
