The toy is very good for baby (9 months), allows him to move and solve problems. The only drawback is no volume. It's too loud for the parents, not for the child.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. I thought it would be great. It's annoying as hell and loud. My daughter loves this damn thing or I would have sent it back. It makes a very loud, obnoxious monkey noise. There is no way to turn down the volume.

Bought for a 14 month old baby. She likes the light and the music he plays. I couldn't read the full description and didn't realize the gears weren't attached to the monkey. Pieces break off easily. It will probably work when she's old enough to be able to lift the gears and put them back in place.

Purchased for work in our children's hospital. Our kids love it! big and small. Unfortunately it doesn't stand up to a Covid wipe. - No wet wiping of moving parts. The gears appear to be stuck and then he just spins a reduced number of gears on his face. Thought it might just be bad, but #2 did the same. If this is just your home, your child will love it.

First I want to say that my eldest daughter had this toy, only it was original, not a monkey. Both love these toys. Swap gears, carry them around, put random things on gears for them to quickly see or slide off. My only complaint is that there is no adjustable volume switch here. It is so loud. This toy is not allowed outside on headache days.
