Because I have old wooden floors refurbished, I bought this felt tape and 2 other types. One of the others was much fatter. However, it's really good for items like lamps, busts, or any item that's standing on a table or surface that can get scratched, as it's impossible to see the felt underneath the item. For furniture, however, I preferred a different brand with thicker felt, which can be seen under what appears to be a lamp.

As a new Subaru owner, I was quick to accept the rattle that comes with a cheaper car. After a while, however, the panting became unbearable and something had to be done. I bought this felt band to fix those rattles in one go! While it wasn't always easy to tell where a rattle was coming from, I was once able to fix it easily with this duct tape. The adhesion seems to be holding up so far and I still have enough tape for years to come but hopefully I won't need it :)

This tape has many uses. One thing I use it for is between my door and the door frame. This provides a good barrier to provide some insulation. If you need a thicker strip you can simply glue one strip over the other. I've used this pad in every corner of my bluetooth keyboard to prevent it from touching (and possibly scratching) the iPad screen. It worked wonderfully! It's very thin so the case can be closed completely, but has enough padding so the screen doesn't directly touch the keyboard. If you put something heavy under the lamps/vases/etc. to protect them from scratches on the surface they stand on may not be enough. Love this felt. The only thing I don't like is that it's very difficult to remove the reverse gear. By the time you remove the pad, the felt will have worn out. It's soft and I love that you can trim it to fit your piece. I have just redecorated my bedroom and will not attach anything to make it stand out. Context: I used this product to line the bottom and sides of a cutting board slot on my kitchen island that I built.
