This raises my embroidery hoop to eye level which makes embroidery much more ergonomic. This simple change has done wonders for the severe neck and shoulder pain I have been experiencing. I use mine on a desk for better ergonomics and being able to move it up and down, twist and move is great. It feels sturdy, is easy to assemble and comes with a beautiful wooden ring. Overall it fits my needs perfectly and I couldn't be happier with it.

When I first picked up the box, I was afraid that something was broken. There were a lot of loose parts inside. On opening I saw that there was absolutely no padding inside and a plastic bag with screws and wooden handles had ripped open leaving the contents loose in the box hence the noise. I bought this embroidery accessory to hold the embroidery hoop because I have arthritis. My hands get tired quickly and start to hurt. The stand allowed me to sew longer than usual.
