Definitely not worth the money

I feel I should have read the description a little better but it was pretty lame considering sets are being considered "Color your solar system." Styrofoam balls are tiny β€” about the size of marshmallows, I think β€” and apart from a few small wooden skewers, that's all you get. I knew it wasn't color, but there wasn't even a diagram or photo of the planets. The set is better described as "little styrofoam balls and cheap cocktail picks".

Pros
  • Spheres can be used as support frames or frames for dough, paper mache, decopatch and pinflair
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The seller needs a better line.

I bought these to make a space cake. I WANTED them to be smaller so they could fit on top of the cake, but I wanted one of the balls to be about 3 inches. I thought this one would fit my needs based on the measurements in the description. I was very disappointed to find that the sizes weren't listed anywhere near. I ended up having to buy from a local craft store to finish it. Added a photo with exact dimensions for those interested. So you know what you are actually getting. They are as…

Pros
  • Set contains: 14 hard polystyrene balls: 2.5 cm, 3 cm, 4 cm, 5 cm, 6 cm to 7 cm in diameter; 10 pieces. 24cm bamboo sticks
Cons
  • No instructions

Don't waste our money.

My son needs to build a solar panel model for 3rd grade. I ordered this set thinking it would be up to the task. However, when it arrived I almost laughed. The balls are so tiny it should be a microminiature model at best. Also, there are absolutely no instructions, not that I can't do it based on online resources, but I expect there to be some kind of guidance. If you have a cool project, you better go to the craft store and buy a few packs of different sized balls and share them with a other…

Pros
  • Perfect for school and craft projects using solar panels
Cons
  • Great price
