Looks weird (which isn't good for the price)

I WANT to love this little guy but I'm a little disappointed. Aren't the rear USB-C inputs passing power to my iPad or iPhone? Why not? Even the cheap ones made it. Also, the HDMI input is finicky for some reason. Sometimes I have to plug and plug back in due to screen flickering or screen discoloration on my 4K display. This has never happened to my passive unpowered hubs. What plug ins on earth… I definitely regret how much money I spent on this….

Good device but didn't work right away

Didn't work right away with either Macbook Air M1 (single screen only) or Lenovo Yoga 900 series (1 or 2 screens). Confirmed issue These weren't my cables or screens Screens either flickered slowly or didn't register to the monitors at all Good design, although all USB-C and USB 3.0 ports seemed to work fine I prefer the dock to work out of the box without that corrective action is taken - I am not paid to fix technical issues during downtime, so this is not acceptable to me, although other…

It seemed like a good solution for me to support dual external monitors, but unfortunately I had the same issue as some of the others reviewers. After waking up my MacBook Pro (16" 2019), each monitor connected to the onboard DisplayPort to HDMI adapter turns on and off every few seconds for 10-15 minutes. It interferes with my work too much and I just can't do it, so I'm sending it back. It didn't matter which monitor or HDMI cable I used, they both had the same issue as long as they were…

Great product with one big flaw

I really like this product because it connects to my two monitors without any problems. It has one major downside with the HDMI port. I am using a 2019 2019 Macbook Pro and the monitor connected to the HDMI port does not stop blinking when it is turned off. It seems to happen when the MacBook wakes up from sleep. Sometimes it goes away when I restart my Mac and keep rotating the detachable dock. This breaks the deal on the device and I will be returning it. Also, the colors seem far from the…

Lots of ports in a rugged, compact package

Just as I was about to buy a slightly bigger brother to this TB3 dock, this new model was released and made available on Revain. I'm glad I waited because it's the perfect combination of functionality and ergonomics. It's much more compact than it appears in the product photos and looks great and the packaging is very good. The space gray color matches the MacBook perfectly. Setup was easy as my 13 inch MacBook (2016 without touch panel) recognized it immediately. A nice touch of pluggable…

Don't buy for 16 " MacBook

This product might work for other laptops but MBP 16 is mentioned directly in their marketing material. And this product "works" with it. I have had the product for 2 weeks now and here are all my problems - 50% chance when plugin or docker machine kernel removal panics and crashes.(This is stated in their troubleshooting guide and their suggestion is to disable all HDMI ports before connecting to the car making their product irrelevant Why would I spend $250 on a dock that supports single…

glitchy hdmi on notebook accessories

I bought this docking station to easily connect my work computer (2019 16' MacBookPro) or PC (2020 M1 MacBook Pro 13'). For my work setup I use 2 monitors so I used the HDMI and DP connectors. There are two important things to know: HDMI The issue I had was HDMI being disabled at boot or returning after the displays went to sleep; I would have to close and reopen my laptop screen to get HDMI again. I've never had this problem with my USB-C to HDMI cable. That and the limited docking options (no

Not so great. Constant blinking along with the monitor.

I've been using this for about 4 days with a 16 inch MacBook Pro and if it works it's great. But the problem is when it works I have 2 monitors connected via HDMI for both (using the included HDMI to DVI adapter). I have a 32 inch Dell curved display as my main display and the side display is an Acer 1080p monitor. The Acer monitor is flashing rapidly and I believe the only solution would be to either put the MacBook to sleep, which would work about half the time, or if not I would have to…
