Not what he claims to be.

This is not a 4G phone and is not fully compatible with Consumer Cellular as advertised. I returned another plum because it was 3G n "upgraded" and not 4G as advertised. It's durable in looks and body, but you can't send photos or videos. One day a technician was trying to fix a problem with a computer and had to call back 15 minutes later. I called them back 3 days later and was told again that I would go to the information to change the settings but that never happened. There was NO…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

good for talking and light texting and email

Easy setup. I like the feel of the phone. There are no volume controls or buttons on the sides of the phone. nothing on the phone indicates you're using a 4G network for voice or data. The only settings are 2g, 3g or automatic. I emailed support and they responded quickly that the phone supports 4G. So my guess is that if it's set to automatic you'll be using 4G when it's available. I think I'll find out next year when at&t stops offering 3G service. In general, I'm happy with the phone so far.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No performance

Not quite 4g otherwise good phone

At least at T-Mobile this device doesn't get 4G service. I spent half an hour on the phone with T-Mobile tech support to change the settings but in the end they said they would create a service ticket and contact me later while they called Plum tech support for me in the meantime dialed so I could dig into their brains. but they weren't. The Plum representative tried to tell me that 4G coverage must be poor in my area, but I live in a large metropolitan area. Then he tried to tell me that 3g H+

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Not happy with everything

Works well with ATT Wireless (prepaid reseller). First experience with a KaiOS phone after a few years on Android); does what I wanted - not print on glass :-) :-). The keyboard's tactile clicks (mechanical, the actual switching mechanism) are quite loud (would have preferred a less obtrusive keyboard sound), but that's tolerable. The back has real screws that can be opened/closed and a removable battery, both hardware options from Plum are really good. The only thing I wish for is a more…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Everything is great
