Important item missing

You will need to go to the hardware store and buy a cotter pin to secure it. The one on your release lever will most likely work if you need to replace the linkage. I know mine was.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Not sure

The plastic stopper was too light for my replacement

Even though the plastic plug was the same size as my old one, I always found it too light to go all the way down, so I replaced the one that came with this unit with my old one (it's all metal) and it's quite heavy .Perfect.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad

Great product - pipes, fittings and supplies

We bought 3 different ones from the local hardware store and every time we installed them they broke. My wife and I are relatively smart and capable and have never had a problem installing a linkage. We decided to try them and they worked great. They were very easy to assemble and didn't snap. We would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • No instructions

Easy to install - pipes, fittings and accessories

This was just what I needed to replace the old one in my bathroom. I bought a plastic one that broke when I put it on. I bought a solid metal one that didn't fully cover the drain so I took it back thinking I'd try another plastic one which also broke. . (Luckily they were cheap - you get what you pay for.) I like that the bottom is plastic as I felt the metal would corrode over time. I also liked the numbers where you set it up on this one. Helped with construction.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Protection

Bucket dimensions posted here

I measured the bucket with a digital caliper and am posting the dimensions here in case it helps either of you in the future when remodeling your bathroom drain. The outside diameter of the Plumb Pak PP606-23 Plastic Pail is 1.22 inches (i.e. 1-7/32 inches or 31mm). The spoon length is 1.75 inches (i.e. 1-3/4 inches or 44.5 mm). If you need a larger tub pail, I measured two other products sold at Revain: Lasco pail part number 03-4705: 1.312 inches (ie 1-5/16 inches or 33.3 mm). The spoon…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • ill thought out
