💾 Bundle of PNY 16GB Performance Class 4 MicroSD Flash Memory Cards (5-Pack, P-SDU16G4X5-MP) Review

Bought these for my son who needs microSD cards for school and didn't want more than 8GB but it was 16GB so even better. They work great and you can't beat the price. If he needs more, I would order these again.

I think it's not safe to erase even if the power button turned off the system. I've gone through about three of these so far, but plan on using the Kindle's unmount method from now on. I think PNY works better than GSkill.

It's actually 20 SD cards but they're in retail packaging, in 4 boxes, in a larger box. This box is then placed in a Revain box. Such wasteful packaging for a 20 card item. I would have thought they would have some sort of collective packaging. But the cards work great!

A pack of 5 Class 4 16GB cards would be prohibitively expensive. But now $12 is a lot. I got it for a data logging project but used it in IP cameras and other devices. These aren't class 10 cards for high-end devices, but anything else you need to keep because they're great.

If you order these please note that they will be distorted. The description clearly states that there are 5 packs, I only received one card, I would have returned it but I needed it immediately so I used it. I just wish it was described as a single card rather than 5. I would look for a better deal.

These things are real SBC garbage any subsequent download attempt. They don't seem to have an issue with saving files or anything, but they refuse to download DietPi on my Pi Zeros or my Odroid XU4, so I'm inclined to say you need to look elsewhere if you want them do something. made with SBC. They're good for data (as far as I can tell, I'll at least have to do more testing to say definitively that they are), but not for loading.

I bought these to work with my old Roku 3 systems (4200x). Strange thing about Roku: I have the same models and software version on both, but only one accepts this microSD card. There are no issues with card formatting. Would buy again. Good value for money if you're using older systems in this class and microSD card storage.

This is just a standard micro card. More useful for light storage, e.g. B. for storing photos or documents. I wouldn't trust it for high-end use, such as B. use in telephones or video cameras. But it's great for storage usage or when you need to quickly transfer a file from one device to another. So far no errors have occurred with moderate use. And that corresponds to his abilities. It's worth it for the price and usage.

One of the SD cards didn't even come out of the box. Most others have dozens of bad sectors that need to be repaired before they can be used. They are fundamentally unsuitable for this purpose and should not be entrusted to you with your data. Not at all. When trying to install a new operating system on my computer using one of them, my computer got locked due to bad sectors. Don't make my mistake. It's not worth the tiny fraction of the savings you get.
