I'm pretty sure if it works with your ceiling fan it's a good product but unfortunately it didn't work with my ceiling fan so I had to return it.

Worked great. Now the fan works without replacing the entire fan! My numbers don't exactly match this one, but it works fine. My old one was 1.25uF and 2.25uF.

This little gem probably saved me from the stupidity of going to Lowes and buying a new ceiling fan. I'm so glad he fixed my non-working fan, now I have three speeds again, thanks.

What more could you want? I've used it to replace a 1.3uF 250V capacitor and it does the job perfectly. My fan has been restored to its former glory. It didn't work at all, barely turned on. Now my 3 speeds are working at full speed.

I bought this capacitor to replace one that blew up in a 15 year old ceiling fan. Installation was easy; Just connect the wires of the same color as the old one. With the purchase of this part, the "broken" fan worked great again. No complaints.

I don't know if it will work because my fan wouldn't start spinning after replacing it, but it could probably just be a blown fan motor I think. I will never know The product arrived quickly and looked like good quality so I gave it a good rating.

My almost 25 year old Hampton Bay ceiling fan is having speed control problems. An internal study found 1.5 microfarads. the condenser is swollen. The cabinet replacement on the Revain was a 1.5, 2.5uF dual block that fitted and only the 1.5uF part was connected. The fan now has all three speeds fine. The $7 repair was a lot cheaper and easier than replacing the fan, but requires technical knowledge.

My ceiling fan has been running at a very low speed for a year or more. This repair required 2 trips to the control box hanging under the fan. The first is to find and write down the details of the capacitor, and the second is to install it. Bah, 3 speeds back in about 20 minutes of work. The only thing I couldn't find was the mounting tab on the original cover, which the replacement doesn't have. But this fan will do without it. A repair is definitely worthwhile.

As one person said. This is a capacitor, they work. The caveat is that each manufacturer uses different wired devices. (ceiling fan) Also, improper connection will result in incorrect or no speed. There are links to short tutorials. I highly recommend this. This saves you a lot of time and frustration. I would have preferred the price of the item to be more clearly presented as $6 or $7 rather than the low price of the item along with the high shipping cost per capacitor. Bought. These things…
