The blades were not sharp and smooth when used. I trusted the high ratings, they are not suitable for embroidery. Yes, at least somewhat, but they are beautiful.

Thread cuts are clean with no threads or lint to interfere with needle threading. They are visually pleasant to use. I recommend them to those who need all these features.

Poor imitation of real Stork/Roadrunner scissors, they are a little dull and clearly cheaply made. You are better off buying the Gingher brand if you want them to last a lifetime. They can last for several months.

Very cute and easy to use. Perfect size to keep one in the small compartment on the front of my sewing machine to trim the thread ends. It's very interesting that it came in two packs at a fraction of the price of some single packs I've seen.

The blades of these stork scissors are very blunt and do often do not snap threads when you cut them for the first time. Also, the nose is blunt. If you've used Gigher scissors (sp?), you've probably noticed their sharp point. It's like a kindergarten version of Giger's scissors. Just boring and not that useful.

I have a set with a sewing machine near and/or next to my chair when I sew by hand. They are great for cutting off sewing thread instead of using large scissors. I keep another set in my purse to keep some unexpected but necessary scissors handy. The scissors are beautiful and very comfortable to use. I highly recommend them.
