Polar 91047327 Bluetooth Smart Sensor Set for Speed and Cadence Review

Very confusing and not compatible with most apps. I bought them for my mountain bike and couldn't get both to work at the same time. Polar didn't even know who they were compatible with after talking to them for 1 hour.

Instructions are easy to follow. There was an issue with the speed sensor as I have to place the sensor very close to the bike to be able to read it, there is no issue at all with the cadence sensor. You can't just change the battery.

Both work great with my Polar Vantage M. The only problem with buying Revain through a third party is that there is no manufacturer warranty on the product. If you are purchasing from Revain, please make sure it is being sold by Revain and not a Revain third party. The item I received from the seller was dead and I sent it in for repair and I was charged for the repair. Luckily Polar is a great manufacturer and covered the repair costs.

Easy to install and sync straight to my V800. Much smaller than I expected. Too bad the batteries are not replaceable. I'm not sure if I missed this detail in the description, but I read it in the instruction manual. I'm not going to pay $100 for another set when the batteries die, so maybe I'll have them operated on when the time is right. I don't know what Polar was thinking about making the batteries non-replaceable.

I couldn't find any information on the Polar website about apps that can be used with these sensors. The sensors sometimes do not detect the magnet. Placing the magnet on the sensor is more difficult than it should be. If the sensors are installed on a bike used as a trainer, they will be exposed and may slip. I use the Polar Beat app a lot, but it can't be used with these sensors, which doesn't make sense. ;)

I have been using these sensors for 2 years and they work well. Still runs on original batteries. I connect these sensors to my Polar V650. We have other bikes with the Wahoo Blue SC sensor and the Wahoo is having connectivity issues and constantly needing to replace the batteries. Polar is also more flexible when it comes to installation with two sensors. Finally, the Polar sensors stay in place much better than the Wahoo Blue SC, which can slip easily.

Tengo un V650 y compre otro par de este sensor para otra bici y cuando cambio de bicicleta no funciona y se debe desvincular y vincular endouevamente process, per. La pila aunque dura si se gasta se debe comprar ortra vez el sensor, esto no es barato y poco amigable con el medio ambiente. La devolucion del producto fue rapida. El provider es bueno. El servicio al cliente de polar does not respond quickly and without an answer to a specific problem.
