High Contrast Linear Polarizing Film. High Transmission of Unpolarized Light from 400 – 700nm. Excellent Extinction Ratio. Available in Various Sheet Sizes for your Customized Use. Great for experiments and learning Physics. The sheet is 0.2mm thick and 16.5" X 11.70" (42cm x 29.90cm), IMPORTANT(!) please note that on both sides there is a protective film sheet. You have to remove it gently before use. Once removed, the polarizer sheet will be revealed, clean and smooth.

Item delivered damaged but still usable.

Product arrived damaged. However, I was able to cut out the pieces I needed around the damaged areas. Good for my use as a linear polarizing filter on an annular light source in combination with a circular polarizer on one of my photogrammetry lenses.

Not ideal polarization.

Not everything is perfect. Wanted to polarize the light for the retroreflective green screen to avoid blur, but while the polarization effect is noticeable it wasn't exactly perfect (assuming it's about 75% linearly polarized). Of course, my application is more demanding than the training, but physics is physics.

Damaged and overpriced item - DO NOT BUY

I paid more to get this fast. Fast does not mean irresponsible. This product arrived damaged and unusable. Large dents and scratches throughout product (with protection removed). If you pay full price for an item, it must be in like-new condition. Not damaged. Why other reviewers would give high marks to products that arrived damaged just because they could get them to work is silly and illogical. Do not buy this UV filter.
