Description of πŸ“Έ High-Quality Polaroid Black and White Film for I-Type (8 Exquisite Photos) (6001)

UPDATED CLASSIC: The classic film is back with a new formula exclusively for I-Type cameras in stunning Black and White. It uses Polaroid's latest chemistry to provide richer colors, tones, and contrasts. I-Type film is not compatible with vintage Polaroid cameras. LIGHT IT UP: Polaroid Instant Film loves light. The more light in your shot, the better your photo will turn out. Always shoot in bright light or use the camera flash. DEVELOP: All photos appear blank at first. Photos develop within 15 minutes. Shield photos from the light and place them face down as they develop. CREATE: Every photo you create is rich textured and unique. Unpredictable, imperfect, and impossible to reproduce. STORE CHILLED: Temperature affects how the film works so keep it stored chilled in the fridge, do not freeze.

Not from this seller

I must have had a bad batch or something because every photo was overexposed. I made no mistake with the film. Some research led me to believe that the film was exposed to x-rays or something before it got to me and therefore came out overexposed. Or maybe it was a manufacturing defect. I took and developed at least ten photos (out of 16 in two packs) at various levels of light, including complete darkness. The photos on the left are from this seller. The one on the right was a little older

Pros
  • FIRE: Polaroid instant film loves light. The more light in your frame, the better your photo will be. Always photograph in bright light or use a flash.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Rarely Gone and High Quality Film

I noticed that some reviewers say they had problems with the film being distorted and simply defective, among other things. And without neglecting their personal experience, I want to say that out of the dozens and dozens of packs I've bought, I've only had one defective pack of film. I've bought these film packs from other sources as well, including Revain (yes), Wal-Mart, and the Polaroid website itself. And with the somewhat embarrassing amount of film I've bought during my Polaroid…

Pros
  • CREATE: Rich in texture and unique, every photo you create. Unpredictable, imperfect and impossible to reproduce.
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly
