Enhanced Canon TTL Flash - Polaroid PL108AF Studio Auto Focus (PL108-AF-C) Review

I bought this model, not the EOS M model. I don't have to use the flash on this camera very often, but when I do it works well. I like the rotating lightning element so I can bounce it off the ceiling.

Great flash. Make your photos bright and clear. Batteries last a long time. The only thing is the speed after shooting, you have to wait for the flash to be ready for another photo.

Despite claiming compatibility with Canon, this is not the case. TTL was out of sync with Canon 70d. He fired at full power on all shots. Each picture is completely overwhelmed. Luckily bought from Revain so no problem with returns.

This flash was great for the price! he did a great job and works very well. Easy to install over my Canon Responsible xs. It's worth it! Especially considering the price of most flashes.

Love the small size and easy quick attach/detach feature. Unfortunately I have to buy another one as my son dropped the camera on the carpet and broke the flash at the base damaging the wires and circuit boards inside. Well it's not very expensive.

Amazing Quality. I needed something better than the built in flash that comes with the Canon T3i. The PL-108F flash is very powerful and does not drain the T3i's battery. Twilight and near-dark environments are no problem, and the flash allows the T3i to autofocus with precision, while images and videos retain natural colors.

Waste of money Useless flash, not powerful at all. If you are serious about your photography then this flash is garbage. Not powerful enough, does nothing for shutter speed, light or images. It's basically useless. I snapped a few shots and didn't even realize the flash was on. Buy a real flash or none at all.

It seemed like a good product, Polaroid is a long established company and I'm a newbie so I thought it was a good buy. It arrived on time, perfect size, runs on 2 AA batteries and is solidly built. It worked for about 100 images. and they came out fine, especially the outdoor portraits, but one day I just stopped, changed the batteries and it still wouldn't fire/fire test. could not get to the TTL check. so my advice. Stay away ! or maybe I just got a bad piece. I'm saving for a flashlight.
