🔊 Polk Audio DB522 DB+ Series 5.25" Marine Certified Coaxial Speakers - Black Review

I bought these as a direct replacement for my 2018 Coleman caravan. Most RVs come with inferior audio components, and these Polk speakers made it real! We've had some pretty nasty storms and snowfalls this winter and the speakers are still working fine. I highly recommend them.

Great sound from these speakers! Along with my new Slipstreamer windshield, which I received from Revain, these speakers give me the sound I expected when I bought my bike. Unfortunately, standard Vaquero speakers are CHEAP! These speakers sounded great at 75mph on the freeway and heard my music crystal clear!

Harley Ultra Rear Speaker Upgrade. Easy install, sounds great. Harley Davidson factory stereo output - 2 ohms, Polk speakers - 4 ohms. Definitely an improvement, I don't want to blow stereo 4 blocks just better sound and more bass than what I had. Factory unamplified stereo/CB - they sound great and are waterproof. As a significant improvement over the factory speakers, a front fairing kit is also fitted to upgrade the factory 5.25 to 6.5 speakers.

Great speakers. Excellent highs and mids. Not so much on the bass. Sounds like High +10, Mid +10, Bass +5. Still a good buy. I turn it to 25 and you can hear the difference to the factory. Easy to mount on my motorcycle. I have not installed with an amplifier. PROS: Audio gets louder as you turn up the volume (factory speakers seem to stop at some point). You hear all the records and high hats. Not to mention words. CONS: Not enough bass (you can hear it, but it's a bit quiet). High frequencies

I bought these to replace the old Jensens on the outside of my camper van. I didn't want to cut a larger hole and had a limited 2" depth to work with due to the pipes and ducts in the wall. They fit perfectly in the hole and come with everything you need. Wow! You just can't get powerful bass out of a 5.25 inch speaker, but they sound so much better than the old ones that there's just no comparison. They cope perfectly with whatever the stereo presents to them. Very happy with this purchase…

I wanted to upgrade the speakers for my 2014 Salem trailer. Everyone I spoke to told me I'd be very lucky to find decent waterproof speakers that could be a direct replacement for me, so I bet on them. Holy shit! Great value replacement speaker for TJ Wrangler. Installed in my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (LJ). The rear speakers fit the soundbar perfectly and there is no need to modify the soundbar. The front dash speakers are installed with an additional bracket that you must purchase separately. You can cut into the factory speaker wires to install with the included cords and connectors. However, I recommend purchasing additional plugs/cable adapters to ensure a clean installation of the speaker plugs

Bought these speakers because the factory speakers left a lot to be desired. Using an old speaker, we set up a projection screen for a night movie trip in a quiet forest with the family, and even in front of the speakers, the sound was difficult to understand and hear, causing the kids to lose interest.
