Polk Audio TL Satellite White Review

These speakers are smaller than I expected. I use them as rear surround systems in a 7.1 system. If you are using them as a side or front I recommend TL 2 or TL 3 along. Very nice speakers. Good sound quality, not great.

My first two failed when I switched from internet tv at 40 volume to network/cable tv. I didn't expect that from a Polk audio product. The volume wasn't great. Should never have happened. I had to order two more - and hope. I had to ask for a refund or replacement. Attention buyers here!

I bought these speakers to use as surround back speakers for my 5.1 stereo system. They are very well made and unobtrusive/small. I love the fact that they come in white - they seem to blend into the room better when mounted on the wall. Good sound too. I think you need to spend a little more money to do better than these speakers.

I bought 2 as surround speakers. I'm happy with the sound quality and aesthetics, they go well with the white walls in my living room. Easy to hang using the keyhole slots on the back of the speakers. That's enough for me to add 2 more for the front height speakers in a simple Dolby Atmos setup with a Denon avr s930h receiver.

At $50 per speaker this is good value. Sound clarity is good, if a bit bright in the upper frequencies. Low frequencies are definitely lacking, but paired with a good subwoofer they deliver *excellent* surround sound. They are also approved by the woman and fit neatly into the corner against the white wall. Overall, I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a small speaker, but not necessarily an audiophile.
