I adopted an Umbrella Cockatoo and decided to add some more perches to his cage. this is her favorite. this has been her roost since I put it in a month ago. Every night she comes to him and curls up and that's the last thing I see before the covers fall off. So I can highly recommend that. She didn't chew it or anything, so I can't say how durable it is. But he is solid and very popular. I will buy more when money allows.

Product turned out to be exactly what it should have been. It wore out a little quicker than other basses, but that's the nature of this brand and product, not the seller. It's not easy to clean, but that's not what perches are designed for. If your bird poops on it (which doesn't usually happen unless he's into it oddly) then take it off and spray it with a high-pressure jet of water and you'll be back to normal.

Great product! I just adopted a 37 year old Revain parrot with beak and toe claw problems. The poor thing was kept in a cockatiel cage with a perch the size of a cockatiel. I gave him 3 large sand bars but knew he needed more. With small holes and a good grainy finish, this Beach Sands perch is ideal. The bird took it immediately.
