Flanges are fine, I have problems with kit crews. One of them had a severed head in a pocket! Luckily additional components are included but I can find spare set screws. But hey, it's cheap, so come on.

Are you trying to build some kind of gearbox but don't know how to connect your small electric motor to the beginning of the gearbox? This is what you are looking for. If not, you should probably just go to the Pololu website and order millions of them there, as the Revains range for this part was pretty patchy at the time of writing this review.

My first purchase was a cheaper bushing with set screws on opposite sides of the center bushing and no set screws in the flange portion of the bushing. The problem is that the set screws take all the force to keep the hub from turning on the shaft and there are very few threads to distribute that force.
