I find mounts too bulky to use in jewelry. They work great with cabochon shapes, but the edges of the frames are too wide to look pretty. It's also quite difficult to push the clay into the bezels well enough to avoid seams or tears.

I've been working with polymer clay for about 4 years and always found shapes to be "cheating". No longer! I love them, they are well made and very easy to remove even before cooking. Alright, I was excited about this mold because I really wanted to start making my own pendant frames out of clay and resin. The molds only offer one mold per size, so if you're baking in them you'll need to make multiple bakes. It doesn't really matter to me, but it's good to know beforehand. The bezels are a bit bulky, which I don't like that much. If you bake them into shape, you'll have a simple chunky headband. This makes it look a bit childish, like a children's necklace.
