Doesn't Mold Well - Not Worth It

My analysis of this thermoplastic crafting material showed that it was difficult to mold and shape compared to other options on the market. While it did have a decent level of strength once cooled, the overall molding process was frustrating and time-consuming. The price point is also higher than other comparable products in the same category.

Pros
  • Strong material
Cons
  • Difficult to mold and shape, expensive.

Easy to use

I got this to make figures with the molds I have. And it works wonders. It is true that the water must be very hot to work with. So if you can't handle the heat, Polymorph isn't for you. In addition, once the plastic has become what you want, it is extremely hard. So it's definitely good for projects where you don't want it to break. The only thing I would have liked for the container was a brief explanation of how to color the plastic so the color lasts. But I think YouTube is for that

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Great for fur costume detailing and masks

My daughter used these to create some great dinosaur mask additions to her Halloween costume. She created teeth, horns and spikes. She also made a knife out of it as a prop. It is easy to use and shape. I was afraid it would melt in transit as I live in Florida. It didn't melt until we heated it as instructed. It was easy to use and if a mistake is made and it gets hard, you can reheat it to reshape. She used cheap acrylic paints and they showed no signs of wear. out. We will be ordering thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin
