Works like clockwork. A guide that tries to explain what type of plastic stick to use is a bit difficult to follow. I end up using multipurpose flat bars for most items. I've repaired car battery compartments, blow molded portable tool boxes, refrigerator drawers and more. Buy it sooner rather than later because it will pay off. Excellent plastic repair tool set, very easy to use. It's easy to adjust the heat settings for specific filaments and I only use a flat tip for all repairs. I repaired a tear in the 7 inch bumper and two completely busted plastic front seat covers. The repair is very durable due to the use of the included stainless steel wire and a layer of white ABS filament on top. I bought this to fix the bedside tables on my Chevy 3500 Double. I couldn't believe how easy the repair was and how strong the binding was. I only completed one side and the refurbished piece was already strong enough to lift and rock the entire bed back and forth. I have a 30 year old Echo weed trimmer that I replaced the carburetor with have rebuilt twice but it still works GREAT. The fuel tank crashed in a corner and I can't find a replacement anywhere (must be a rare version). The tool itself works fine. The temperature setting is nice, as is the delivery of different plastic sticks. The only thing that disappointed me is that it is made in China. I was about to buy a Chinese plastic welding machine before I discovered this device. I really prefer to buy products from the USA, even at an additional cost.
