I was most impressed by the welding and soldering

My truck has had a crack in the front bumper for almost 6 years. I recently bought this and I usually like to wait a while to see how well the tool is holding up before I can tell if it's good or bad. But that's what impressed me. If you can glaze a cake, install drywall, or do any other job that requires you to make a fairly smooth surface, you can do it. Watch a YouTube video and do it. I hope this tool will stand the test of time well.

Pros
  • 200 watt cell
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Works great with welders and accessories

I bought this in place of a soldering iron as before. I really liked the shape of the iron leg as it was very easy to dig deep and heat a larger area than I could before using the soldering iron. Can't wait to try this thing on thinner materials like small motor fuel tanks (lawn mower/snow blower etc.). Pros
  • Works great with TPO, EFT and PP
Cons
  • I will add later

Love this kit, suitable for welders

I bought special plastic strips to match the material I was repairing so the only part of the kit I haven't tried yet , It is the attached plastic strips. So far I have repaired PP (polypropylene), PE (polyethylene) and ABS. All have been successful using the welder from this kit as the welder and strips that match the part being repaired. ABS was probably the easiest of the three, but none of the three was difficult. I only used the screen on ABS. I have a Cadillac Eldorado 79-85 that has…

Pros
  • Includes stainless steel armor wire mesh

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
