Much better clamp than Bessey CM30

I bought this 3" clamp and Bessey CM30 C clamp 3" deserves to be in my shop! Bessey clamp screw is loose and loose. Buy She 3" pony Jรถrgensen

Pros
  • 3" hole
Cons
  • I won't say anything

One-Trick Pony.: Clamps

Typical strong, tight pony quality. Good clamps are crucial for accurate and clean work. In fact, they have a very simple function. This is a must-have clamp that offers excellent value for money. The easiest tool ever used by a beginner just playing around. Overall strength and durability are a valuable piece in the heavier handyman's arsenal.

Pros
  • 800 lb. Resilience
Cons
  • I will add later

You get what you pay for

I think I expected a little more from this clamp but as the name suggests. It was used to clamp two 1" x 6" x 9.5" pieces of maple for gluing in combination with five other C clamps, two clamps on each end and two clamps in the middle. They were all hand tightened tightened but this is the only one that failed.Note: I bought five of these clamps so I used two of my dad's old 4" Armstrong C clamps that he bought in the 60's since This one was broken. Note to self: spend a little more and buyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Perfect for most DIY, woodworking and household clamp jobs
Cons
  • Not an automatic clamp

Pony doesn't live up to its reputation

Extremely disappointed. Two of the five arrived with screws bent in such a way that they could not be opened; the other had a bent pin which did not affect functionality , but I expect more from Pony. Revain accepted the return (of course) but I declined their offer for a replacement. Even cheap brands don't have this level of quality control issues. Their experience could be better, but even at 60% I wouldn't take risk.

Pros
  • 3" opening
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great little clips.

For some reason my collection of oranges grew and the other one stopped after I bought only 1 ๐Ÿค”I really like both brands and some others. As for the C-clamps, there's an orange winner. I mean the clear winner. Excuse me. As for rod clamps/F-type clamps, both are excellent choices. I have both multiple times. In terms of price / quality plus stiffness, I often choose another brand. Nothing beats two 6" and two 12" clips for $25 each.

Pros
  • Ductile iron collar casting
Cons
  • Don't know

Great clamp at a really good price

Recently the handle on my Greenworks mower came loose from a part of the mower and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it - the bolt broke. Anyway, I had a brilliant idea that I could use a C-Clip to hold it in place, so I ordered this Pony Jorgensen 2630 3" C-Clip. Revain delivered it the next day and wow "It works like a charm! It took me a few minutes to figure out how to position it exactly but it holds the mower together perfectly and is very strong. Better a $6 fix than a new mowerโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Durable
Cons
  • No performance
