This pump did everything it was supposed to do. It drained my 400 gallon spa in under an hour and was easy to set up. I would give it 5 stars on all counts, but when the water was low I had to hold the float switch over the pump for it to turn on. the rest of the water came out. The last inch or so required a vacuum, but it was still a lot quicker than waiting for the water to drain from the spa outlet. I highly recommend this product

It was very easy to set up. The device is conveniently located at the bottom of the hot tub. My 360 gallon hot tub drained in 15 minutes. It would have been less, but I also sprayed the interior with fresh water. The pump pumps a lot more water than my garden hose, so I'm sure it didn't affect my drain time that much. The device switches off automatically as soon as the buoyancy sensor touches the ground. Very happy with this device.
