TLDR below. That's the problem. A lot of people say they aren't very tall, but that's the height of pretty much all foam stickers like this one. It's not necessary to layer them in two unless you want them to stand out strongly and I don't do that unless I'm doing something big, like the whole piece of paper and not just one thing open the piece of paper. Another thing is that I don't find them particularly difficult, but I think it's just because I have tweezers to use them with. I don't spoil
