Not suitable for Cornelius brand ball lock kegs, according to the product description suitable for Cornelius. The cymbal diameter is smaller than the original, the springs are too long and push the cymbal almost completely out of the rack. What you end up with is probably a 1/16" plate sticking out and some sort of O-ring pushed through.

I had to buy a set of springs/plates. I have never used this style of post (my old ones had permanently installed springs/cymbals). And the first pair I disassembled had parts flying around and I never found them. So that. and later an extra set of springs/cymbals and I never worry about it.

I've tried them on a Cornelius keg and the external gas fitting won't snap into place on the rack. The fluid connector snapped into place, but required significantly more force than normal. I don't feel good about using them, so it's useless to me. They are 44% taller than the cymbals of most of my other barrels (27.0mm vs. 18.7mm). I assume a person can cut the spring, but how do I know the bottom edge won't damage the o-ring?

It's only been a few days but they go perfectly with my pin cap kegs. The cymbals protrude slightly from the pin surface where the original cymbals were flush, but don't change their function at all. The package also came with spare o-rings (8, same as the poppet valves) and so far there have been no leaks from the kegs I've installed them on. Even with this brief use, I'm much more confident that the beer won't splatter on me when I unplug compared to the originals.

I ignored other reviews saying the springs are too big and I regret it. I tried these cymbals with two different barrels and the springs were too long. I tried trimming them to fit the springs I was replacing and everything seemed to work fine. I ran into a problem when I was cutting the bottom of the spring. The biggest problem with ball lock kegs is that they leak. and probably the most common point of failure is the disk. I've tried changing the o-rings on the cymbals but it never seems to work. Most of my kegs use Firestone plate cymbals and these "universal" plates are a great replacement or a fraction of the cost of a new Firestone. I bought this product hoping not to have to deal with the hodgepodge of Frankenstein pin locks that came with my used Corny kegs. (Everyone needed new cymbals) Using this product ended with a jet of root beer hitting the ceiling. Exciting!
