This USB powered 7-16 inch laptop cooling pad keeps my laptop cool. Very quiet. I need to check if it releases air; it's so quiet However, there is NOTHING to keep a laptop on a cooling pad. So when I move the laptop, it slides off the cooling pad. If there was something on the pillow that would encourage the laptop to stay on it, that would be perfect. The stand is well designed to support your laptop. The fans are small and weak. At the highest speed, it couldn't cool my laptop (I stream videos, don't play games). I previously had a suction cooler and a small desktop fan that worked together to keep the laptop cool. This cooling pad almost made the laptop get hot, so I turned everything off.
