Works perfectly! for Computer Accessories and Peripherals

My kid spilled a soft drink on our Late 2012 MacBook Pro and its inside became a gooey mess. I used this case to recover data from its SSD. In fact, we continued to use it as an external drive. It was easy to install and works well.

Pros
  • Easy-to-Read Control Panel
Cons
  • May Hurt

Lifesaver for computers and accessories

I was able to recover my Mac files after my MacBook Pro 15" Logic Board with Retina broke. I was able to install a MacBook SSD popping in an OWC Envoy Pro case and using a USB cable was able to connect to another Mac to get all my files, USB 3.0 made file transfers even faster.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

feels great looks great

WOW! This was the only case I could find for my particular drive and I was initially a little frustrated with the price (not the seller's fault, it's the OWC pricing). I just needed a universal box to house and access the SSD I pulled out of my MBpro. BUT WOW! I'm telling you the photos don't do it justice. THIS IS PHENOMINALLY ELEGANT! feels great, looks great, works great. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

This is not suitable for MacBookPro11.2 SSD.

I bought this because the MacBook Pro 11.2 was finally drained. I have a baby, that's all I can say. I was really looking forward to getting this CD, I put off buying this CD for a long time thinking it would be a little expensive to produce. Anyway with this COVID-19 BS I didn't have much of a choice, work from home and need access to data. So I swallowed a bullet and bought it. Well, I get it, and what do you know. Contacts do not match. I don't have time to play with it so I'm sending it…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Not bad

Expensive but very Apple-like

Like everything in the Apple ecosystem, this device is expensive. However, it definitely looks like it belongs to an Apple product! Also, it's almost impossible to find another branded adapter for Apple's fancy proprietary SSD format. If you need access to your MacBook's SSD, this case is perfect! The only downside: As soon as the SSD is installed, the manufacturer suggests putting the supplied rubber feet over the screws. I wouldn't bother installing and removing the sticky rubber feet as I…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Sad device

Works! I upgraded my Macbook Pro Retina mid 2012 and the original Apple SSD came and showed up after installation. Incidentally, the user manual states that the enclosure does not work with other brands of SSDs (including other OWC SSDs), but I used the QNINE mSATA to A1398 adapter with a Samsung 860 EVO 500GB mSATA SSD and the computer did the drive registered just great . I just couldn't close the case as it became too thick for the case after stacking the adapter and mSATA SSD together. That

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Modern
