Great for pets

This has been great in helping my kittens adjust to their new home and our dog. It is best to clean with a hose. The only downside is that the little cat nails left a few tiny holes in the floor after just a few uses, but that's not a big problem.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things

Best for safety and play

I bought this to protect my kitty and let her play while I do chores. She loves it! She and my other cat often play it together. They only go in to play. That's great. It's also easy to move from room to room. Very easy.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Nothing

Suitable for cats after surgery

Used to help cats recover after patellar luxation surgery. It worked very well, no assembly, plenty of room for a bed, small tray and water. The only downside is that the mesh is too loose for the cat's claws to get caught on it, but it was fine with the claws clipped.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Actually I don't like anything, everything is fine

Easy to install in the playpen

I used this as a safe place for my kitten. Kittens are always running around and this playpen is a great place to protect them while I vacuum, assemble/fix furniture etc. It's big enough for them, their food/water bowls and lots of toys. It's also a great place to store their toys. She doesn't stay there for more than a few hours. Just enough time to do what I need to do without having to watch her.

  • New
Cons
  • Style 90

Ideal for post-operative care

This saved our cat's life after spaying. Enough space for a small tray, a bed and a water bowl. She had room to roll over, but she couldn't strain herself. Now that she's better, she tries to free herself, but the net is tight. No tears so far. It is very easy to clean as the top is open. I can take it outside and shake it and then wipe it off. The floor is like a camping tent, so spills or accidents will not damage the floor. Feel free to get it!

Pros
  • Decent effectiveness
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Small size in playpen

It's smaller than I expected but appears to be built the same as the larger one I already had. I bought it for a foster kitten. I can install a small tray, but I wouldn't keep them in such a small space day or night. This is perfect for letting her in the house for a while while she's still in quarantine. I'm going to join two handles together so the smaller one is for the toilet and the larger one is for sleeping/eating later. I'm hoping to keep the junk mess in a smaller area. All in all aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Cute
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Suitable for a queen with newborn kittens.

I wanted a good safe place for a homeless mother who showed up and was about to give birth. I was hesitant to get this because a lot of the reviews say they're pretty easy to destroy. But for newborn kittens, it's definitely great! Mom didn't give birth in a tent/arena but next to her and soon I was able to change her clothes. So far it works great. One downside I can definitely say, especially for newborns, is that the zippered mesh door has to be done in reverse. Instead of closing andโ€ฆ

  • Almost never

Kitten House: Cats

Update 1: The kittens are almost 7 weeks old now and are still nursing once or twice a day. I felt it needed an update in case anyone was interested. This thing stops the stink! Serious! Unzip or approach this thing with a clothespin by the nose. I line it with fresh pads every day and have a small litter box, but that thing stinks! Urine and feces seemed to seep into every fiber. I wash it thoroughly every day and I still see the disgust on people's faces when they come to my house. Also, andโ€ฆ
