This thing is amazing. Small and light but hit the arc just as well as the heavy name brand welders I've used. The only complaint is the location of the switch on the back. The welder is small enough to be easily accessible, but I prefer to have it right in front of the entrance so you can see it if you need to turn it off in a hurry. I have welded 1/4" and 3/8" steel with good penetration. I recommend this product.

Product replaces and works EXCELLENT

Received replacement quickly and tested this machine. There are no problems with the exchange. 5/5 would buy if looking for an inexpensive welding machine for home projects. ** First machine may have failed while waiting for replacement ** Attempt to weld a test bead with e6013 in both forward and reverse directions. This machine couldn't even hit the ark. I fired up one of my other welders to make sure it wasn't just bad ground. nope This welder does not weld.
