I had problems with the first connection, but I decided to try again. Unfortunately that was a few months ago (Covid has so far prevented me from restoring it, so it's too late to go back). In any case, he was seen for a short time. The laptop and desktop say it's working, but neither sees it when trying to transfer files. There are no techies in my world so I'm out of luck :(

This drive is faster than expected, but I recommend not running too many other applications while files are downloading. It does get a bit warm and I recommend balancing it on the short side when copying large folders of files. I will probably buy a different or larger capacity from the same brand

worked great for my Acer Chromebook which was around 2GB so I couldn't even download updates but with this external hard drive I now have room for everything.

I'm only having problems with a 120g external hard drive I received yesterday. I keep getting disk errors, fix them and then get the same error again. If I barely touch the hard drive or computer, or if the table moves, the hard drive spins down. I tried it on 5 different USB ports on 2 different computers, both are almost new. I have emailed the seller and will update their response.

It's small and very useful, definitely a product worth the money. (They recommended using the phrase "value for money," but it's simple and straightforward, it's a good deal, it even comes with a nice storage pouch.)
